ACADEMICS

Early Childhood

At St. Andrew’s, our Early Childhood branch focuses on hands-on learning with a developmentally responsive curriculum from 3 years old to Kindergarten. Our teachers use many different instructional methods to meet the needs of our students. We believe in a learner-centered approach and focus on the different learning styles that our students possess. Our program provides a balance of core academic subjects, enrichment classes, and many community service learning opportunities. We believe each of these lay the foundation for preparing our students for the 21st century.

Our core academic program prepares students to be articulate in their written and verbal communication through exemplary language arts, math, and science programs.  All students experience a robust Fine Arts and Enrichment program that fine-tunes students’ abilities to interpret new concepts and apply new skills. Lower School students attend a weekly religion class, as well as once-weekly Chapel and once-weekly Morning Prayer.  Our teachers focus on the different learning styles of our students, and work daily to prepare them for the Middle School Program.
