Anniversary Events
We look forward to coming together as a community to celebrate the School’s 60th Anniversary throughout the year ahead and we hope that you will come and join us.
September 14 – Founders Day
Join us in the morning for Holy Eucharist. The Right Reverend Sam B. Hulsey, retired Bishop of Northwest Texas and a long time friend of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, will be here as we honor alumni from St. Andrew’s first five graduating classes and the School’s founding family.
November 18 – Grandparents & Special Friends Day
This annual event brings together the family and friends of our students to celebrate the learning experience at Saint Andrew's. Students share their classrooms, art, music and more with the grandparents and special friends that come for this special day.
December 10 – Rudolph Run
Come see how Rudolph and his friends celebrate our 60th year.
December 20 – Lessons & Carols
This tradition will include favorite songs and lessons sung by St. Andrew’s families throughout the years. It is sure to be a highlight of your holiday season.
December 23 – Young Alumni Christmas Reunion
A great time to catch up with old friends and share favorite memories about your days at St. Andrew’s. Do you remember who was in your Kindergarten class? Have you ever seen your Mom or Dad’s class photo? They’ll all be on display so come out and take a look back.
February 6 - 10 – St. Andrew’s Week
The entire school community – past and present – will join together for a weeklong celebration. Come by and see the School’s special decorations including a walk of fame, themed hallway decorations and more. Or join us for one of the following events
• Wednesday, February 8th: Alumni & Special Friends Chapel and Coffee
Chapel is at 8 and the coffee begins at 9.
• Thursday, February 9th: All School Chili Supper & Alumni Challenge Night
5 – 7 pm. Come share a meal and watch as current students battle young alumni in challenges of both brain and brawn.
April 12 – Fine Arts Night
Melodies from Mrs. Teel’s song book along with a variety of classic tunes will sweep you away while visual art displays will bring to life traditions from throughout the years.
April 26 – Bronco Birthday Bash
Get out your picnic blankets – it’s time to celebrate. St. Andrew’s is turning 60 and the party will be on Childers’ Field. Enter the watermelon eating contest, get your face painted or grab a partner and run in the sack races.
May 5 – Spring Benefit
Celebrate 60 at the biggest party of the year!
May 31 – Graduation
While always a special celebration, this year’s Graduation will provide us with a unique opportunity to reflect on these traditions and begin some new ones.
