Athletics
St. Andrew’s is pleased to offer a variety of competitive sports for our middle school students. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be part of a team. Through sports students learn team work, respect, discipline and an appreciation for athletics.
St. Andrew’s is a member of the West Texas Christian Athletic Association. The Broncos participate in 6 man football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, track, golf and tennis. In recent years the Broncos have won WTCAA championships in a number of sports including football, volleyball, cross country, basketball and golf.
The Bronco coaching staff takes pride in developing our young athletes. Our coaches truly care about each individual athlete and making their sports experience is a positive one. Many St. Andrew’s students have gone on to have successful high school and college athletic careers.
St. Andrew’s recently named Glenwood Park as its home football field. The School also completed major renovations to the gymnasium in 2008, allowing St. Andrew’s to host WTCAA championship tournaments in volleyball and basketball.
Please support your St. Andrew’s Broncos by attending a game. Go Broncos!

Extracurricular Activities
St. Andrew’s students are well rounded and are encouraged to explore their own unique skills and diverse interests. In addition to athletics, students participate in a wide variety of academic competitions and other activities. Students in Grades 3 – 8 can participate in the School’s orchestra program and/or join the school choir. Beginning in 2008, the School began participating in the Private Schools Interscholastic Competition (PSIA) and this activity is open to all students in Grades 1 – 8.
Academic teams compete locally, regionally, and even nationally, in a multitude of math and science competitions, and the School boasts a very active National Junior Honor Society. In 2009, the School became a founding member of the National Elementary Honor Society, which is open to qualifying students in the 5th Grade. Last year, St. Andrew’s Science Bowl Team won the regional competition and then went on to Washington D.C. where they won the National Fuel Cell Car Competition.
As our students mature, they also have the opportunity to participate in class trips that help not only to increase their awareness of the world around them but also to strengthen friendships and create lifelong memories. Class trips for this year include:
- 6th Grade: Washington D.C.
- 7th Grade: Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas
- 8th Grade: Seattle, WA
