The boys’ football team has been named the champion of the North Division of the Texas Christian Athletic Association Football League, and on Saturday, October 25th, they traveled to Lubbock to play All Saints Episcopal School for the WTCAA (West Texas Christian Athletic Association) Conference Championship. The high scoring game was exciting and fun to watch. In the end, the Broncos lost to All Saints – but their spirits remained high.
“This is the first time our boys’ football program has played in the Championship game since the School added tackle over ten years ago---and these boys deserve it!” says Head Coach Casey Doyle. “They’ve worked hard since early August and have responded to the leadership provided by our 8th Graders. You take that leadership and combine it with the play of some of our younger students and you quickly see a foundation of success being formed. Add those valuable assets of the other players to the mix and you realize that our football program is something really special!”
