Affording St. Andrew’s

A St. Andrew’s Episcopal School education is a major investment in your child’s future. It is a worthwhile financial commitment and the School stands ready to help families meet this commitment. St. Andrew’s is believes strongly that all qualified students should be able to attend the School, regardless of ability to pay.

Each year, the St. Andrew’s Financial Assistance Committee awards partial assistance grants that help families defray the cost of an independent education for their child. All awards are made on the basis of need. It is expected that all families will make this educational experience a first priority, both in time and attention spent with their children as well as in their budgeting of financial resources.

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School uses the services of FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment in Lincoln, Nebraska to determine need. The report of financial need computed by FACTS is used by the Financial Assistance Committee to determine the amount of aid granted to each requesting family. As such, all requesting families must file a Financial Aid Form with FACTS.

All applications and financial aid documents are kept strictly confidential. Financial assistance may be offered only after determining that all resources of the parents are insufficient to meet the student’s total educational expenses. The deadline for filing with FACTS is Friday, February 26, 2010.

Awards are made by the Committee beginning in early April and are based on demonstrated need, funds available, and are restricted to those students who have a current student contract on file.
